Time...They say time heals all wounds...and I guess it does to some degree. Like my Honey's leg...time is definitely healing it (along with some doctoring). And my injuries. I am healing (not as fast as I would like...but I am improving). But, emotional hurts...they take so very long to heal. Last night, I thought many times about our babe in Heaven. As Sept 1st gets closer, I find myself thinking more and more about him. (or her). I saw some pregnant ladies last night..which reminded me that I had thought the fair this year would be interesting as I would be 37 weeks pregnant. But, no babe. As that day approaches, I keep thinking of what was to have been. I was to be about two weeks from birthing new baby. To experience the awe of giving birth again. To wait to find out if we had a new son or daughter. To see the look of love and adoration on my Honey's face. To see my children love on their new sibling. To welcome a new life into our family. But, that is not to be. I am left with this hole in my heart. I miss my babe. I want to hold and cuddle him. I want to nurse him. I want to smelll that incredible newborn smell. I want all those wonderful things. This is where I'm hoping time will heal this wound. That the sting of it will eventually fade. I don't know that it will ever go away. I think it will always be a part of me...for I lost such a huge part of me that day in February when our babe died. The tears seem to flow so easily again. I am so blessed...yet feel so sad sometimes. Life is filled with challenges....but thankfully, it's also filled with joys. This is my valley right now...I'm ready to be walking back on the peaks again. { Post a Comment } { Last Page } { Page 174 of 368 } { Next Page } |
