A quick post...

This will be a short post...it's past bedtime here...

Mom called last night...she and Dad are cutting their traveling a bit short...and heading directly to my brother's home in Washington State. Dad had more blood...and they are getting there sooner than planned so Dad can be seen by a Dr. He has an appointment on Friday. Your prayers that they arrive safe and sound would be appreciated. I think he probably just over-did it on some foods...but will feel better once he's been checked out!

We are on the home stretch for our school year!! Yeah!! I have plans for our summer...nope, no traveling...too costly gas wise...just some things that need my attention around our home and farm. Things that get neglected. Things that are screaming for that attention..but obviously don't scream loud enough! 

I had a productive day today...made two double batches of mozzarella and ricotta cheeses, two pans of meatballs, spaghetti sauce, and a big supper of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, butter beans and peas and carrots.
Rebecca made chocolate lava cakes for dessert. They were yummy!! But how can a Mama be expected to lose weight when she has such a gifted girl around?!

I must close...my beloved is ready to get to bed. 3:30 will come much too early... It's only 6-1/2 hours away....

My dh has to be up at 3:30 as well. The mornings do come quickly. Sleep Well....
