Long time, no post...

Just realized it's been almost a week since my last post. Too many activities around here. I have been limiting my computer time. When I do get online, there are several e-mails to respond to, then catching up on my favorite message board, checking the bank account, blogs to read....by the time the sun is up, my time is over...BUT! I am not done! Balance..there is a balance there somewhere...I just have not found it yet.

Life is never boring on our farm. Last night, Cheeseburger, our almost 1 year old bull, decided to go for a walk. So, our evening was spent convincing him to go back where he belongs. I am happy to say that my idea worked! And he is back where he belongs.

Gentle is producing more milk. I think she likes the warmer temps we have been having. Not supposed to be as warm today...yesterday, the windows were open and we celebrated by grilling burgers and hot dogs and eating on the porch! Felt like summer! Well, it did while the sun was up...once it went down, it got a little chilly! And maybe not summer exactly...last summer was quite hot...maybe spring. Yeah, it felt like spring!

Thomas put the badminton net back up yesterday. He then wanted to use the new slip n slide they received for Christmas. Uh, whoa...not exactly warm enough for that....slow down there!
Today, it is 34* now. Supposed to warm up to 55*. A bit cooler than the 70* we had yesterday. I am NOT complaining though!!!! I know the summer will bring hot temps and I am NOT looking forward to them!

So, now I have updated you...and it's time to go visit Gentle and bring in that rich, creamy, sweet, delicious milk of hers!!!

Laurie - I can see the kids on the slip-n-slide with their coats over their bathing suits!!!
It is beautiful here today - about 65 and beautiful sun - good day for a drive - I think I will do that for about 8 hours!!!!LOL!!!
