It's snowing!!!

So, the big news of the day? SNOW!!! It started this afternoon, quit and has just started again! Would be so neat to have enough last to actually have fun in....

How exciting!! It's the little things, ya know?!
Today, I made chocolate baskets. They turned out pretty cute. Can see some adjustments I would make from the recipe to improve them a bit. But, they look cute enough! I will fill them with homemade truffles...once we get those made. One of these will be our contribution to the cake walk at the Valentine's Day craft party. The other is for my family to enjoy!

What a homey sight it is to look out and see snow flakes gracefully falling from the sky! The only thing that would make it better is a roaring fire in our non existent fireplace! That would be the ultimate!
And maybe some cuddle time in front of said imaginary fire. Ahhh...that would be perfect.

Toby and Thomas are finishing up a barn roof repair...in the snow (love saying that!) and the cold. It's just below freezing now. Poor guys! I need to get ready to go milk...which means putting on my long johns, sweats and jacket. Think I will wear gloves as well for the walk out there. I wonder if a photo of the flakes will show up? Think I will hurry out now and take one..the snow is falling pretty heavy now!
Love this life...just love it!!!

You finally got some snow!!! I am so happy for you and the kids!! Have fun... Unless it is melted by now?

We have very cold weather starting and maybe some snow in our future too... My kids would love to check out the sled they got for Christmas.. who would have known it would rain all of January instead of giving us some snow!! :)

Snow ahh I am jealous, still isn't snowing in FL. Ha Ha.
