Monday night...two weeks till Christmas!!!

Soooo....here we are at two weeks till the big day...are you ready?!

I'm pretty close, gift wise...have a few more to get, but all that are here are already wrapped and under the tree. That's thanks to my Natalie. She is one who likes to be prepared! We joke that when she grows up, she will have her Christmas shopping completed by June! She wanted to get her gifts wrapped, so she and I did that...and then I moved onto my own. Great motivator, my Natalie!

I have baking to do. Sugar cookie dough is in the freezer. Also stained glass window cookie dough. We'll have a baking day soon. Mom and Dad are back now, so the traditional sugar cookie making with Grammy can commence!  I love that my children have this special time with their Grammy. I well remember my own childhood days of decorating cookies that Mom baked. It is a fond memory...and I am glad that my children too have fond memories like that!

We need to decide if we are doing gingerbread houses. I'd like to make our own instead of buying kits...we shall see!

If you think of us, please pray for healing in our home. Natalie and Mary both have a tummy bug....many trips to the potty this evening. They are both sacked out on the couch...could be a long night for this Mama... My beloved also has some issues. His knee has been bothering him for a few weeks. And the tooth in front of the tooth that was abcessed and later pulled is not well. It has a small bump next to it. He is baby-ing it till the new year, and new insurance. He has an appmt at the dentist on January 2nd. I am praying he can make it that long. I am having memories of the abcess time...it was so horrible watching him suffer so...oh, Lord, please spare him that agony again...

We have piano tomorrow. Toby was planning to come home early and he and I were going to Florence to finish up our shopping. But, not sure that is going to happen now...the computers and carts all crashed today at work, so he had to leave early. They are having a Black Friday #2 this week...and the ad changes will happen on Wednesday..which means extra work. Hopefully, he will still be able to come home early tomorrow..and feel up to going. I was looking forward to this time alone with my beloved. It doesn't happen enough....and my folks will be leaving after Christmas...and won't be back for many months...perhaps 9...that means a long time before we can do this again.

I hear Natalie stirring, so I must close now...

Wow, I can't beleive you are almost done!! Us well we still have 2 weeks right? How time flys. I will pray for your family that everyone will feel better soon.
