Tuesday morning happenings...

It has been an eventful morning... skimmed mucho cream off the milk in the frig. Gentle gives rich, thick cream! I am making butter this morning. Don't think I have time for mozzarella cheese...but will need to do that on Thursday as we will need it for Friday pizza night. Taking a gallon of milk to a friend today. She teaches my children piano and used to have milk cows herself. I know she will enjoy this treat!

While outside (in the frozen-ness!) feeding the beef cows hay, I somehow lost one of the lenses to my glasses! We looked all over for it. I am not sure when it popped out. We had left the cows and gone back in to get more hay. While in that part of the barn, we checked on the pigs. We discovered it missing when we took the last bale out to the cows.
UGH! I don't like going to the eye Dr!!! And I will be going to a new one...I haven't been in a couple of years. Rebecca and Toby have both gone to one Dr here in town that I swore no one else from this family would ever go to again. So, I haven't been to the eye Dr in a few years and have never met this Dr. What fun...

Thankfully, I do have another pair of glasses to use till I get new ones. I don't care alot for them....so will be praying to get new ones quickly!

When we checked on the pigs, they were all huddled up together. We couldn't see the little boar. He was under the sow. We had to pick her up to see him. All was fine. They let us pet them for awhile. Guess they didn't mind since it was so cold!
We didn't get any snow last night...though we did drive through some sleet on the way to town yesterday afternoon. It was mighty cold and frozen out there this morning! It's still only 27* now at 8:30 am.

So...piano starts in 3-1/2 hours, guess it's time get started with schooling so we are ready to leave when it's time...

I know what your going threw with your glasses, but fortunatly, I did not lose the lens.

How nice of you all to share your fresh milk from Gentle with friends. Your home and farm are so pretty and peacefull looking...I love it.
