A rainy day...

Good morning!
It's dark and rainy out this morning. Perfect morning to sleep in...or curl up with a good book and a blanket. But, no...what am I doing on this rainy morning? Getting ready to go shopping! Crazy, I know....but I don't want to spend my Saturday shopping...not in Florence, that's for sure! I have a coupon for Hobby Lobby that a dear online friend of mine sent...it's for 50% off all Wilton products! Can you imagine?! ALL Wilton products?! Yee-haw!!!

I am also planning to look for a Nifty Knitter...another online friend recently got one and has made beautiful things with hers. I can't seem to make my hands cooperate in crocheting..so maybe this is the answer?! We shall see...

Checked Gentle's due date...she is due on Toby's birthday! Wouldn't that be neat?!  We are sure missing her milk...and all that comes from that sweet, delicious milk! Toby especially. He grew up on *gasp*...powdered milk...ick...they shouldn't even use the word milk in that name! So, for him to be so looking forward to Gentle milk again is a blessing...and music to my ears! He knows the health benefits of drinking raw, unadulterated milk. He drinks it in the morning for breakfast and at night before milk...and any time else in between.

School is going well. We are using Mystery of History this year. It is WONDERFUL!! Starts with Creation and works forward. Love it. Math U See continues to be a great fit for our family. Thomas has decided maybe long division and Roman numerals aren't so difficult after all... :)

Guess I will close...we are meeting Josephine and her girls...plus her older daughter and her children...to head to Florence. Should be a fun day...aside from the rain...the children all have children their age..and gender (yeah for Thomas!!) to pal around with today. Love days like that!

Enjoy shopping and especially that coupon! I've been drooling on it but I'm not sure if we'll go and spend. I have been saving up for a treadmill, and it's time to get one, so ... ah well, soon I will get saved up for some trips to the crafts and sewings and things!

You sound like you're ready for some great fun! You enjoy yourselves, and I hope the kids do as well! Even with this icky rain and weather! We're going out shopping too :) !!!

Laurie - Loved having you come by today - I just got home from work - yes, it's 7 days a week now - Lord, help me!!
Can't wait to "see" what you got with that coupon!! I have thought about getting one of those knifty knitters - let me know how you like it.
Well, I have got to go clean my room and get some laundry done. Tell everyone at the homestead, I said hello. I miss al of you!!
