A late night...or an early morning?

Good evening...or good morning!

It's 1 am...and I cannot sleep. My beloved let me sleep in this morning...and now I am having trouble getting to sleep... will have to make sure I don't make the same mistake when I do get to bed....

Natalie and Mary have been sick for a couple of days. Poor girls...they get so hoarse and awful sounding at night...they talk funny...they like the way they sound, but the more they talk, the worse they get....We've been giving them plenty of extra Vitamin C...and cough medicine...and prayer that they heal quickly and are back to their normal, cheerful selves!

The weather has turned much more fall like lately. Love it!!!

Toby had a long week this past week....his two fellow IMA's...one quit (thankfully!!!) and the other transferred to another store. What was left in their wake was work not done...things that were long not done...so Toby, being the concienscious worker that he is, picked up all of the slack and got things done. There are two new IMA's starting on Monday...good...but he still won't have folks who know what they are doing...till they get trained. They think all that's involved is pushing a cart around making signs...they really have no idea! I am praying that Toby gets plumbing back and loses lumber....the DS for lumber is a ladder climber...and really doesn't do his job. He likes to throw his weight around and write folks up, for seemingly small offenses... Toby doesn't need to deal with idiots like that!

Toby now has his very own table saw!!! What a happy man!!! He used it today...to skillfully replace a patch that was covering a hole from the stove pipe that was in the house when it was built as a two room home. When they put the patch on, they didn't worry about it being flush with the rest of the floor. Now it is! We found an old farm magazine...from 1952. Toby took great delight in reading what he could of it...mostly old tractor ads and such.

Thomas has a desire to learn computer programming! I need to find a program to teach him. I love to find things that entertain their interests and teach them a skill they might use in adult life.

Rebecca has been re-arranging her bedroom. It is so wonderful for her to have a room to call her own! Natalie would like her own room...one day she shall have one...but for now, she shares with Mary.

Waiting on Miss Gentle to give us a beautiful new calf. She should be calving at the end of this month. No milk....and we sure are missing it!!!!

A new table saw would make me happy too! I love using tools and equipment! I'm glad he's enjoying it, and I'm sure he'll do a lot more around the house with that saw!!

We will pray for your husband and his work. I'm sorry to hear about the ladder climber. Those types of folks just don't ever get anywhere other than the town of trouble.

Let us know of the calf news! I love new babies!

We'll add prayers for thoee who are not feeling well. Poor darlings.
