Tuesday night..

The children are off to bed...so I am taking a few moments for computer time before heading there myself!

Did some organizing the office today. So nice to have this new space. I am looking forward to my Honey getting shelves in the old wardrobe, so I can put supplies in there...out of sight, out of mind...for a certain little three year old! Would be nice to have a lock on it...

As I was going through a bunch of magazines over the weekend, pulling out recipes for my recipe binders, I found a page with the most beautiful kitchen! It is yellow, with blue accents. Just lovely. I have it hanging on the frig...will try to re-create it...my way. Did open my eyes to some different ideas. I am hoping to get paint this weekend and get that done.

We have a wish list of things for our home...a new kitchen table, benches and end chairs being a biggie. We also have a large Tiffany lamp that used to hang over our kitchen table in Florida. My Honey bought it when he was building that house. We brought it along, and have had it in the storage trailer (which is a semi trailer!) ever since. It is wrapped...hoping it has not gotten broken while it has been out there... It would look great over our table now that the kitchen is larger. But...I don't want to lose the ceiling fan...not sure how we will handle that one...

My folks are in Atlanta now...along with my brother, SIL and neice. My neice is competing in the nationals kayaking competition. Would have so loved to have been able to attend this and see my family... I know Katy is doing great!!!! Mom and Dad will return here this Sunday. Dad needs a pacemaker..and will have that operation August 2nd. If you think of him, please keep him in prayer. We sure want him around for a long time to come!! :)

Guess what Natalie found outside by the barn tonight? A brand new kitten! Lilly, one of our Mama cats, had just one more kitten. She did look better than our other Mama cat, Belle...but sure didn't think it had been long enough for her to be prego again. This little one was tiny, but Mama was nursing her...Talk about a prolific breeder! We only found the one kitten....

My beloved is back from his nightly rounds outside...time for me to close and head to bed. 3:30 am comes pretty early!

That kitchen sounds pretty...hope you can figure out a way to use your Tiffany lamp. Have fun with the kitten!
