Tuesday ramblings...

Busy days....do they ever end? I am finding that if I want enough sleep, I have to go back to bed after my Honey leaves for work. That's also my usual computer time. So, it ends up being sleep or computer....lately, it has been sleep!

The upstairs remodel is back in full swing. Such progress has been made already this week. Two of the three new rooms have drywall up. They are currently working on Rebecca's closet. Next, they'll move to Thomas' room and begin drywalling. I try to help where ever I can...though there isn't usually much for me to do other than hand tools to someone or clean up. Whatever I can do to help them....they are both such a blessing to our family!!!

My Dad spent the night at the hospital last night...he was undergoing a sleep apnea test. He had one a few years ago...and hadn't had one since. Speaking of that...my brother, Todd, had a sleep apnea test done as well. I haven't heard any more details, but he told me that his Dr had called and left a message for him...he has severe sleep apnea. If you feel led to, please pray for him...he's 37....seems kinda young to be experiencing such things.

The graduation party for our friends is this weekend. I am expecting some cake decorating supplies today. Mom and I will be making a bunch of flowers for the girl cake...out of royal icing...tomorrow. I'll bake cakes on Thursday, and crumb coat them. Decoration will begin on Friday! They are picking up the cakes Friday evening. This will allow me to go to the curriculum fair in Columbia on Saturday!!! Yeah!! So looking forward to that!!! Rebecca is as well....used book sale! My girl sure loves books!!!

The weather has been gorgeous this week. It's 53* now at 5 am. I am sure the heat will return...but, I am sure enjoying the cooler weather for now!

I am considering starting a Keepers of the Faith/Contenders For the Faith group with the upcoming school year. I have wanted to do this for years....and it would seem that things may fall into place this year to finally do it! Okay...so don't ask me about my time management....it will all work out.....somehow....it always does!

Since I haven't been online much lately...I think I will check in over at the Homestead to see what my friends have been up to!

Sounds like things are really coming together with your remodeling...I know it's going to look great and you all will love it...all that room!!!

Ohh I wish I lived near you. I would love my DD to be in a Keepers of faith club. Instead of Girls Scouts. I am not one to start things. This may sound weird but I do not like teaching other peoples children. That may be a comfort zone thing.?!!! But I do LOVE teaching mine DD. I hope you all have a nice day!

Laurie - you wear me out just reading....I am so glad the remodeling is coming along as you like...praying for your Dad and your Brother - sleep apnea can be such a dangerous thing!!

Since I have 3 girls we have done the Keepers Clubs at home. It is not quite the same as an actual meeting, but it is fun. I wish I had better follow through. I have always thought about putting a group together, but time is always an issue.
