For the past couple of days, I've been deleting RUDE comments posted on my blog. Most have been the same "Molly" person telling me rude things about my choice for the presidential election. I delete those because they are nothing of substance, only her ridiculous ranting.
But, this morning, Bon from Flanders, NJ left a comment that I must respond to...it was in regard to insurance, and the lack of it for me....

Do you know how much one day in a hospital would cost or a ambulance ride. Great another welfare case the tax payers can pay for.
Well, Bon, not that it's any of your business, but YES, I do know how much one day in the hospital or an ambulance ride...would cost
Last year, I had an ambulance ride, along with a night in the hospital...in the ICU. It was costly. Nearly $7000. And nope, the tax payers didn't pay a dime of it!
Due to these rude, uncalled for, disrespectful comments, ALL comments that don't also include an e-mail address will be deleted. Those that I know personally will be left. Those that I do not, sorry, but I'm tired of the ranting of lunatics.
Laurie,
I am so sorry that you are having to deal with this. People can be so ridiculously ungodly. There again we live in a fallen world.
I hope your day gets better.
Bless you and your stand,
Trixi

I just got a hospital bill for over $20,000.00 and we can't afford health insurance either. For me alone it would be $200 a month, so I do understand where you're coming from. As far as anyone giving you a hard time over your own chosen candidate I'd just ignore them. It's really common for folks to try to force their personal opinions on you. Things will get better, hang in there :)

Laurie, you are not alone!!!!

It would have been $400.00 a month for my husband to add me to his insurance, since losing my job last year. Some are saying the unemployment rate could get to 9 or 10 % next year, so sadly, we may have alot of company!!

I had a crazed AOL user stalking me for a while......
It's funny how people just don't have a problem acting like lunatics on the internet, but are the same people that in person, you would NEVER guess to act in such a way.
Out of the overflow of the heart, the mouth speaks!!
I changed my settings so only reg users can comment. That way if someone wigs out, I can report them.......

So sorry you've endured rude comments like that. Must be doing something right, eh?
We lived w/o insurance for several years. NEVER took a 'handout', although I'm sure we qualified.
Never listen to the 'self agenda/angry' people. That's what they want: attention and response. Jesus and Paul both told us to 'shake the dust from our sandals'....
I've added you to my friends list. Hope you stop by my blog sometime

I've had several on mine and actually had someone post a skinheads site on my blog.
I took care of it and HERE is how I did it.
Change your blog settings to record IP addresses. THEN anytime you have someone posting, you have an IP address. Now there are a few loopholes, but I won't tell you them over the post because if they see, they would be enlightened to them.
Grab yourself the sitemeter and anyone coming to leave nasty messages can be entered and their location, address and such can be found.
I almost NEVER have to deal with nasty people, but with the person posting racist junk on my site, I threatened to post their address and phone number on my site for all to see and deal with the biggot. She hasn't been back since.
Now I don't do this often, and it's pretty drastic, but that's how I deal with repeat affenders that don't know when to quit being nasty.
