September 11.....

We must never forget....

And this is a good reminder today...

And this is a great one too...

Where was I? I was in North Port, FL at a homeschool group meeting. One of the Moms is the wife of a police chief in a neighboring town. He called her and told her to get home NOW. She relayed this message to all of us...so we gathered up our children and headed home. We had no idea what had happened....we sure saw some awful sights on the tv when we got home.

I remember sitting there...watching the news coverage..and being in complete shock. I remember seeing the footage of when President Bush was told the news...he was reading to school children at a public school in Sarasota, FL (which was about an hour north of us). I also remember being incredibly thankful that was our president at the time of this attack.

What a horrible, horrible tragedy. I realize that other countries suffer these sorts of attacks quite often. And have a huge loss of life due to terrorism. But, this was the first attack on US soil...and it was a hard hit.

Let's all remember those who lost their loved ones in this tragedy. There were far too many who lost their husband, their wife, their child, their uncle, their aunt, their grandpa, their grandma, their nephew, their neice, their friend.
And may God bless America with His protection.

While I don't want my blog to be a political one...PLEASE ask yourself if this were to happen again..who would you trust to handle it?? I can safely say for me,  Obama is not someone I trust....
