Ssd, sad news....

I have just read about Marsha's son....her 3 year old son drowned in a pond....and my heart is breaking for this family. Suzanne has a post about this...

I cannot imagine the grief and sorrow they are experiencing.

Is it just me or do these tragedies seem to be coming in record number lately? Wives losing their husbands, husbands losing their wives, parents losing their children....well...not really losing them. They are awaiting their loved ones in Heaven. But, here, now, they are lost to us.

Time heals all wounds, or so they say.....I am not so sure...I think the wound just gets a scab over it. Time after time, that scab gets pulled off and the hurt is at the forefront again. Each time the scab grows back...but the wound goes deeper. The only healing balm for this wound is Jesus. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly beyond our expectations. I have no clue how those without Him get through a single day...let alone a tragic event like these.

Hug your babies. Hug your Honey. Let go of the little annoyances. Just love each other....and remember that these days are so fleeting. Don't let another day go by without showing your loved ones that you do indeed love them. Time is just too short....

It is not just your imagination dear. It seems like I can count at least 3 either online or personal friends who have lost a child under 5. And people loosing spouses, and parents are almost that many as well.

It is sad and my heart aches for them. I didn't know Marsha, but I am still praying for her family. What an awful thing for any parent to have to live through.

God's Blessings,
Amy Jo

It does bring bless it assurance I believe knowing that the little one is in heaven and will not have to go through the life situations here on earth. Sometimes I think that they [people] leaving to be with Jesus can and will bring some of the lost family members to know Him as their Lord after their passing. Even through time~cause God does have a perfect plan for each of us. What Jesus did will not go in vain and we know why He came. We want to go to heaven and death opens the door, so being prepared truly is the answer to going there. Sending thoughts for comfort and peace for all the families who are greiving the lost of a loved one. My Mother In Law passed last week and I found such peace knowing she is with Jesus now and all experiences on earth brought her to her eternal home where there is on suffering and pain. May His blessings flow over all the universe to awake all those in dire need of knowing HIM. *U* rilda

I have seen this story around the net several times and even though I did not know Marsha or her blog before, my heart is just heavy with sadness for her family. I can not even imagine their pain but I do know we serve a BIG God and they seem to be right in His love right now.
Blessings,
Trixi
