Another update...

I just spoke to Mom....

Uncle Wayne has been in surgery for over 2 hours now. The surgeon expected the surgery to take 3-5 hours.

A friend was with him when he was working today. My uncle is not one to work alone. He always likes a buddy with him. I am ever so thankful for that now! I do feel for his friend...he had to just stand there, watching him fall, unable to do anything to stop it.

He went unconcious as soon as he hit the ground. He has been ever since. He was having trouble breathing, so his friend turned him a bit to the side to help him breathe. He's been on a ventilator due to this.

My head keeps telling me how bad this is. But my heart keeps screaming how BIG MY GOD IS.

It's times like this that make me want to move near my family. I hate being apart from them. If it were not a 15 hour drive, I'd be on my way now. But, it is...and I'm needed here...and the Burb is not up to that long of a drive now. But, my heart wants so badly to be at that hospital with them all.
