When you ask someone, "How are you today?", do you care enough to really listen to the answer?

I do!!! But I have to admit, every once in a while, you run into (usually an elderly lady) who tells you just the way it is. LOL She tells you about the corns on her left foot, and the like. My granny was like that when she was alive, and my SIL's grandmother is like that too. She is so sweet and sometimes I think she does it just to get your attention long enough for you to stay and pay attention to her and talk to her.

Anyway, when someone tells me they are having a bad day, or go into details with me, I tell tem I would like to pray with them about it. If they say yes, then I do. I have had people say no though, and I say that's ok. I will pray for you later before going to sleep and I will be thinking of you also! And they always say thank you for that too. Some people just don't want to be embarassed by praying for them right then and there depending on who is around and where they are.

God's Blessings,
Amy Jo

Most of the time. lol. I am a day dreamer so sometimes it seems hard to focus. This is something that I have worked hard on. Dh hates whenever people don't "really" listen. God Bless. I

You bet!
And when people ask me my standard answer is this: If I got any better, I'd split in half and be twins!
