Internet connection slowness has prevented me from blogging. The connection fails by the time you get logged in or have started writing something so it is best to give up then instead of getting frustrated.

We are about at the end of our warm weather. By Tuesday here in central Illinois it is supposed to be in the low 60's. Well I guess that still could be considered warm but we have had an extended time of 80s lately.

Last night we had a weinie roast in the driveway. It is so great to be on a farm.

It got dark fast.

We even ate outside. The pirate bugs were asleep I guess but the mosquitos needed discouraging with sprays.

The stars are so beautiful out here. We have to learn to identify them. I was so excited to finally spot something even it was so easy as just being the Big Dipper.

Grandson D drove the lawn tractor by himself for the first time today.

He also got to help drill holes in one of our burn cans.

A weinie roast sounds so good. We should do this before the cold comes in on us as well!!!
