From My Easel

   I have been asked by my friend Belle to post some of my drawings and paintings. I really love to capture simple old fashion life but a few of my drawings are of old circus animals and lost art techniques, like Ink&Pen, and a few are just from the top of my head. these ones I am sharing are a few of my pencil sketches. I hope you enjoy.

This is the first drawing I have ever entered in a Fair. This is from July of ~2006~ 

This is one I entered in ~2007~ Fair

This is one of my Favorites that I drew this year.

(All of my drawings in pencil are done with a regular #2 pencil. I do not really get the point of having several pencils. I do not like to have to stop to switch pencils once I have started.)

I hope you enjoyed the first entry of "From My Easel".

Oh my!!!! You are good!!!! You do faces very well. Belle struggles with faces. Keep up the good work.

It took me a long time to learn how. I have problems with feet. Sometimes I can draw them, sometimes I cannot. You can see that through some of my drawings. Hands and faces (which are suppose to be the most difficult) come very easy to me. I started by drawing portraits of my friends by their pictures, eventually I learned to draw them without aid.
