Dear Reader

Today is so nice looking. I love the way the sun hits a fresh blanket of snow.

Since we had no power yesterday we had to unpack the library to get to the fireplace. So most of it is finished. We found most of the books we have been missing. Most. Some are still missing. Like my Quote Journal.

We had no stove that worked so my Father made dinner on our gas cook stove. Just as we sat down to eat we heard our heater kick on. All that work to make dinner and our power came on just after we finished.

My horse wants out in the snow. He loves it, but I do not want to risk putting him out on a lead again. (Mainly because there is no more lead!) I will not put him out on a lead until I have a nice one (Mother said we are never going to buy anything less than top-of-the-line horse products from now on).

Well I am going to go read other posts. In the words of Charles Dickens, "Train up a fig tree in the way it should go, and when you are old sit under the shade of it."

Sincerely,

~Mary-Ann~
