When you thinks things cannot get worse they always seem to. This is my tragic tale: I woke up this morning to go and feed my animals. I stepped out side and there was a strange silence. I continued to feed when I relized the missing noise was the quacks of my ducks. I went down to the river where my ducks bath to find 12 of my 13 campbells missing. After a two hour search we did not find a sign of them on our property. We hoped they would turn up so we waited until one in the afternoon. So to take my mind off of my ducks I decided to get my Does put in with my Buck to make sure they had been bred. I took my miniature horse out and tied him on a long lead to graze like I always do; and put my Buck and Does in the horse pen. We then decided we should go drive around and see if the ducks were in someone's yard (My ducks cannot fly at all). We looked for half an hour to find nothing. So we came back to the house. I then went out to give the horse and goats some grain to find a lead line with no HORSE on the end of it. Mr. Smith managed to brake the clip of the lead. We looked around for him until darkness fell. We found no horse so I decided to print up missing animal posters. I used to think it a strange thing for a person to lose a horse, now it does not seem so strange. This day could not get any worse if I tried. (I should not say that, I may wake up to no goats). My only loyal animals are my chickens! I hope the horse comes back for breakfast. In the words of Herbert Rappaport, "I hope that while so many people are out smelling the flowers, someone is taking the time to plant some." Sincerely, ~Mary-Ann~
