Today we went back to the old house, but we did not get much done for it decided to snow. Well that was rain on our parade (I mean snow). So we had to come home. I am planning on starting my pepper plants soon. I am going to use my starter seeds and grow them in our mudroom. I really want to plant now instead of waiting until Spring. Spring just seems so far away. I may start my edible flower garden instead. Or plant lavender or some plant that will not die if it decides to freeze. I love flowers that stay green all year round. Since we have to start over here at our new home does anyone have any ideas of plant that are evergreen. I do not like having to plant all new flowers every year. I like some plants that you plant every year, like Pansies. I am interested in plants like Mountain Loruel. In the words of Jean Paul Richter , "Flowers never emit so sweet and strong a fragrance as before a storm. When a storm approaches thee, be as fragrant as a sweet-smelling flower." Sincerely, ~Mary-Ann~ |
