Dear Reader

   You who read my entries probably think I am accident pron. Well, I am. At five I broke my ankle turning around in line. At seven I stuffed a spike through my foot. At nine I had a horse step on my foot and now my toe is fused. At eleven I broke my finger in to the growth plate and had to wear a cast up to my elbow the whole summer. I have broken all my fingers and toes, sprained both my wrist and my ankle, and I always seem to have bruses and scatches. If you have ever seen the movie "Pure Luck" with Martin Short and Danny Glover I would be like the chacter Martin Short plays. On a happier note I did not hurt myself today.

  I am at this time reading the book "Around the World in Eighty Days". This is my tenth time reading it. I recommened this book if you have not read it. I love that it is not just one adventure, but many. I have just read the part where Passepartout is reunited with Phileas Fogg and Aouda after being tricked by Detective Fix in Hong Kong and is forced to become a "Long Nose" Acrobat.

  Well I need to help unpack. In the words of Rowena Bennett;

"I heard the springtime coming

Across the winter snow.

I heard it in an icy brook

That just began to flow.

I heard it in a running wind

That pushed a cloud along.

And in some little hiding thing

That made a chirping song."

Sincerely,

~Mary-Ann~

(P.S. The reason I have been writing down poems lately is because the book I write my quotes in is at the old house and the book I write poems in is here.)
