Dear Reader

I spent today packing again. I finally got to bring over things to the new house today. It looks so desolate. I feel sad for homes that sit bare, for it does not make it a home, but  house and house is a very lonely word. Home is a word that sounds warm and inviting. I hope soon our house will be a home.

I have had a request to talk more about my rabbits. Well I have only one rabbit at this time but hopefully I will have two new ones at the end of January. There is not much to say but I am sure I will soon. I enjoy my rabbit and I hope to get the breeder Does soon.

I do enjoy my blog. It is much like an online diary. I thought of doing a different title to the post instead of  "Dear Reader". I like the way it is in the "Diary of Anne Frank" when she names her diary "Kitty". The only problem is that I haven't any names to give this diary of mine so I think I will stick to "Dear Reader".

I forgot to mention in the last post that we also bought a old sewing mechine from the auction. My mother likes to collect old sewing mechines. The new one is a "Frister & Rossmann".We are now up to four treadle mechines and three hand cranks. One of the treadles belonged to my great grandmother. The other ones we have bought over time.

Well I should probably end this entry. Thank you for reading.

In the words of Lord Chesterfield "Wear your learning like your watch, in a private pocket, and do not pull it out and strike it merely to show that you have one."

Sincerely,

 Mary-Ann

(P.S. Happy New Year!)
