Dear Reader

I have been urged by my friends, the Lunds, to post pictures. Mary and Annie have told me today the thing which my blog lacks is cheerful colour and pictures. As you can see I have changed the background to be more colourful (I have to change the picture up top still) and now I am on to posting pictures. So here it goes, random pictures of the year 2008:

I decided to start with step by step pictures of my front garden

The ground was so tough, I had to wet it down and let it soak in before I continued.

Here it is with the dirt all cleared and the bricks have been laid.

Here it is planted. Isn't it lovely?

Here are the small details to my garden:

The little fisherman that sits on a pot full of Creeping English Thyme.

A garden fairie, commonly found in English Cottage Gardens. It was considered a sign of luck.

In my Garden, I have smaller gardens that I have others plant. Here is my friend Maddie's garden.

I painted the little sign.

I had broken this bird bath, so rather than throwing it away, I decided to turn it into a planter.

End.

Now, for some pictures of the farm:

Sarahs goat, Twinkie, peeking out of the indoor stall.

Twinkie's baby, Baby Ruth, Hiding inside the barn from the snow.

"I'm invisible! Can you see me?"

A buck goat and a....chicken. two chickens. and a duck?

"I don't believe I like this white stuff."

Tipper. Do you like the snow on her nose?

The puppies had never seen snow, so they went crazy!

Well, these are all the pictures I have time for right now. In the words of John Lennon, "Life is what happens to you while you are busy making other plans."

Sincerely,

~Mary-Ann~

Very Nice, thanks for sharing. You actually gave me an idea of what to do with an old fountain we have that doesn't work. I'm thinking planter come spring.

Ohhh, I just lllooooooove your garden!! I'm kind of flower nutty myself ;-) and I just adore your garden set up. Sadly, I can't plant anything in the ground because we are in soar need of landscaping after our house was built. We still need our front porch built and the driveway put in and the front lawn leveled away from the house, but that's on the 'someday list' so my in-ground flowers are also on the someday list. :-( I have to content myself with potted flowers I guess. :-)

Your blog looks great, btw. Very fresh and 'springy'.

ttyl!
Mary

I lived with containers for a long time, I was getting a very nice flower pot garden going :). I just couldn't bare to leave my beatuiful flowers behind because we move a lot. This was the first graden I have planted in about three years. Sadly, I will have to leave this one someday, since the house does not belong to us:(. SO, yeah, there is another flower pot gardener, I am not the only one!

ttys.
