Dear Reader

10:51 AM, Sunday, January 4, 2009 .. 0 comments .. Link

Today is on of those lazy days. The type of day where you know things must be done but you do not feel the impulse to do them. Where you would rather hold up in your cave with a book or a good movie rather than go out and do what is expected of you. Thank heavens it is Sunday, the only day of the week that makes this possible.

Since we were not able to attend church this morning I got to spend my morning doing the things which please me. First I sat down and finished reading the book I had started night before last. Then I worked on one of the two books I am presently writing. Now I am sitting here on the computer enjoying a cup of tea. I think that later I will set up the easel and do some painting or just sit with my sketch book and draw.

In our busy lives, days like Sunday are the days I enjoy the most. Carefree and lazy. Do not get me wrong, I enjoy having my share of work, but that is what makes me enjoy my free days that much more.

Well, thank you for listening me ramble on about my Sunday. In the words of Malcolm X, "You can't separate peace from freedom because no one can be at peace unless he has his freedom."

Sincerely,

~Mary-Ann~
