I got this over at the blog "Country Dreaming" and it looked like fun to fill in with our Traditions.

Welcome to our traditions!

1.)What kind of tree does your family use? We use to have real ones, but when the prices of them went up (way up) we bought a fake one and have used it since. 

2.)When do you put your Christmas tree up each year?: The evening of Thanksgiving, right after dinner. 

3.)What kind of traditions do you have when putting up the tree (if any)?: We listen to Christmas music and sing along. My Father always puts the star (actually it is an angel) on the top when we are finished.

4.)How do you like to decorate your tree?: We don't have to put lights on, since they are already part of the tree, but we do put on the rose garland from my parent's wedding and gold beads. We are very big on putting candycanes on the tree and the glass pickle. Oh, and popcorn and cranberry strings.

5.)Do you have any other interesting things that you would like to share about your Christmas tree?: All our ornaments are different, collected over the years from here and there, I think everyones favorite is the gold dipped holly leaves my Mother brought back from PA. Our tree looks very victorian when we are all done.
