Sorry, I still do not have pictures of the rabbit, in fact, I haven't hardly seen the rabbit since we brought him home. I will sincerely try to get the pictures today, but no promises. The reason I have been cooped up in the house (not able to visit my rabbit) is due to an ear infection I have had for over a month. The day we picked up the rabbit, my ear was fine, in fact, it was almostly completely healed. When I woke up the next day (Saturday) my ear was still feeling better, but through out the day my ear started to hurt more and more until finally, at dinner time, I could no longer open my mouth more the an inch and I couldn't chew. The pain was so terrible. On Sunday it was even worse, I could hardly move my mouth, I couldn't even lick my lips, my inner ear was throbbing from the pain. Due to the pain, I was forced on to a diet of oatmeal, soup and pudding, all eaten with an extremely small spoon (since that was all I could fit in my mouth). Finally Monday rolled around and we went to the doctor......again. Being allergic to most of the medicine given for ear infections, I was left with three options, and I had already used up two of them, so really it was only one. Injections. Three shots for three days in an area we will just call the "lower" back. I weighed the options, shots seem so much better than a ear infection, so that is what I took. Little did I know how much medicine there was in the "one little shot". Of course they put it in the right side of my bu......"lower" back, and the ear infection was on the left, so when I tried to sleep that night, there was no comfortable side on which to lay, I ended on my stomach with my arm under my head, so I didn't have anything touching my ear. Tuesday and Wednsday were about the same as monday, except the shots switched sides. Now to yesterday, I found out that those wonderful shots, the ones that were here to cure all my problems, didn't do a thing. So we go back to the doctor on Monday to set up an appointment with and ENT. Well, that was pretty much my week in a nutshell. Perhaps next week will be a little better. In the words of Mark Twain, "Never put off until tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow." Sincerely, ~Mary-Ann~ { Last Page } { Page 13 of 79 } { Next Page } |
