Hello All! Hope all is well with everyone. We've had a great day. Our church service was wonderful. We had some running around to do. Tomorrow I have to clean house and do all of the laundry. It sometimes becomes overwhelming! Bill - dh - washed the truck and cleaned it out. Son #2 went to a buddie's house and went swimming. It is 98 degrees outside.  The little guy stayed inside and we watched tv. I am watching Pride & Prejudice. What a wonderful movie. I've seen it a few times and each time I understand more of it. I have a hard time understanding what they are saying!!!! Bill is bar-b-queing outside and it is finished. I'll blog more tomorrow. B

Good morning all - we have been so busy at our house today. First of all - help me out.......everyone uses letters to describe their family members....dh, dd..????? What do they mean?????********* My hubby - Bill, sealed the driveway. Not a easy job - especially with the temp being around 95 degrees outside. Also.....he worked midnights and had not been to bed yet! What a trooper. We always have something to work on around our house. The next project is scraping and painting the bottom of the house - then we will clean and seal our deck. Never ending...... I ran to Wal-Mart this morning and bought a new crockpot. This one has a "warmer" setting. I love it. My old crockpot really runs hot. I can't wait to use it. I also bought some school supplies. My oldest son is in college and I decided I'd just send him a gift card to buy his stuff. I need to get my walk in before it gets tooooooo hot. I've decided I'm watching carbs. I'll keep you informed on how good or how bad I'm doing. I hung out a big load of clothes outside - I love doing that. Isn't it funny how small things just makes me smile????  I hope all of you are having a wonderful day. I plan on hitting some yard sales tomorrow and Saturday. I'm gonna try and post some of my "finds"!!! God Bless - B

Before I started actually blogging - I read tons of blogs on this website. I always checked in on Glenda. I just read where she is dropping her internet service and is very ill. Is there anything that WE can do to help her? What do you think?

Time To Get Organized! Watch Out!!!!
Today is my first day off of work and I am cleaning like crazy. I have so much to keep me busy. My youngest son is leaving early this morning for a National Youth Convention with our youth group. He is so excited. I am cleaning out his closet and getting rid of all the stuff he doesn't wear. He went through a growing spurt and his buddy will LOVE all the new stuff we will give him. I also am taking the time to organize my pantry. I read so much about it on this blog and it has inspired me ladies!!!!!
Our garden is growing well. Our container potatoes don't seem to be doing well. A rabbit got to them when we were out of town. Does anyone know when they will be ready to dig up? I believe in the fall? How will we know when they are ready? Obviously, this is our first time and I am alittle bit lost.
I want to thank everyone for all of their "welcomes" and encouragement. I feel incredibly welcome here. This is my first attempt at blogging. I have a lot to learn. Thanks again. It's a slow process!!!

We Are Back!
Well, we are home from South Carolina. What a wonderful family time we had. We ended up having 14 people in a house on the beach in Hilton Head, South Carolina. We all got a long! Can you believe that? I am very thankful that we had this time together. I've been struggling with my blog. Please have patience and I promise it will look nicer and much more interesting! I am determined to make it look cuter. I can't wait to put some garden pictures on it and show more of my family. I'll add more to this later - waaaaay too much to do around this place right now. I think I Need Help
I think I'll be asking for some advice. Is there anybody out there that can help me try and figure out how to navigate and fix this blog page? I look at everyone's blog and they are so nice and have so much information on it....their picture, a counter (how many people have been on their blog), friends listed, etc. How on earth do I do all of this? Any help will be appreciated.
ALSO - I've received a ton of "Welcomes" from people. How nice! Thanks so much for making me feel so welcome. B
My first time!!!
Hello everyone - I am brand spankin new to this. I have no clue what I'm doing but....I'll muddle through it and figure things out as I go. I look forward to getting to know all of you. We are leaving on vacation Friday. When I return I'll work on the blog and hopefully have it up and ready to go.
