     Well, I said I would begin to try to sew the receiving blankets like the samples I received. This is the result (no laughing):

 

 

     Since you can't really tell how bad it is from this shot I did two more:

 

 

 

     What happened was, I folded all the other edges and then found out the last edge was not cut straight (my fault) so my folds weren't going to come out lined up. One end was longer than the other! I had so much left over I had to cut just to make the fold at the corner look somewhat decent. the edge is wavy not straight because I had to curve one side over more. So I hope someone can redo this for me when they get it or maybe the Momma who gets this won't mind the mess up. I didn't think I could mess up a receiving blanket. The Holy Spirit taught me how to fold the corners. I thought it would look perfect after that. Guess I need more practice...
