Sewing my own tablecloth
| This morning God was working in me and I looked at my dirty crumby plastic table cloth with cotton backing and decided to suffer those no more. I've wanted to just make my tablecloths so I can through them in the washing machine everyday (or in the laundry pile everyday). I'm planning on making at least seven so I can use a new one each day. I've also wanted to make my own placemats. I've got to find out what the store brought placemats use as filler. It's not just fabric sewed together on both sides I don't think. Anyway, I'm real excited and my husband is happy I'm back being creative again with the sewing machine. I haven't actually done it yet, but it's a very good thing I'm talking about it. Thats' a start. For now, I'm using a plastic single color that matches with some store brought placemats we have. I'll keep you posted! |
