When last I wrote, I was enjoying the wonderful smells of a supposed wonderful dinner cooking in my crockpot. After it was all over and I tasted the meat I was so dissapointed because it tasted like any old pot roast. I thought I had put a corned beef brisket in there so I was very confused as to how it could change on me and end up tasting like a pot roast. My husband said it's because I cooked it in a pot. I think maybe the wrong label was put on it. So sad. I ahd half a mind to call the store and complain about false advertising, but I just eat my pot roast tastin' corned beef brisket and thank God for the bounty. It did come out very tender. I was just expecting a corned beef taste.

That's the worst when you are looking forward to the taste of something in particular and it comes out completely different. I remember when I was kid I was in my father's kitchen and went to grab my sprite off the counter, but to my dismay, I grabbed my dad's vodka and tonic water. That was an awful surprise that ended up all over my dad's countertop when I spit it out!
