Third receipe prepared and cooking as I write =)
I LOVE MY NEW CROCKPOT!!!!!!    This third receipe is gunna taste yummy! My husband brought me a 5.93lb. corned beef brisket. So I followed the directions for a 3 lb. brisket and saw that they added an extra sentence if you have a big pot (which I do, 6 quart). They said I can cook 1 (3 lb.) each, so I just cut that big one in half and put the carrots in first then one half, the onions and the other half on top. It's supposed to be 10-12 hours on low, but I did want ti ready for dinner tonight so I put it on high for 3. After 3 I can add the cabbage for another 3 hours. I'm so excited!!! I'll let you know how it comes out! |
