Earlier today I received an e-mail from an online saying she liked what I did in my sewing section and that she could identify with what I said. Later on, I felt this drive to do something I had been putting off for a week. I made my son a bib:

The shame ful part is it seems to me like the only catalyst for completing this needed project (his other plastic one was cracking) was my friend's comments!!! Aaauugghh!!!! I guess I haven't been cured from my approval addition as I had hoped. Back to the drawing board (A.K.A.- On my knees in prayer).
The productive part is I did it. I even did it throughly. Here is a picture of where the string goes through the top:

I didn't sew all the way to the seam. I left an opening and then just threaded the string through there. It acts like a drawstring.
So anyway, that'as my newest creation. I need to get back to those receiving blankets for Caleb Ministries... |
