Vicki went to her back to school bash at church today.  They played in the water.  They had a good time.  Vicki is really tired.  We came home to no water.  I really need to be busy cooking.  We are having a reunion for my family tomorrow.  We are also having a singing at our church tomorrow night after the singing we are having finger foods.  That should be fun.  Randall and his brother are working on it.  I hope they get fixed soon.  We have spring water.  Sometimes it just goes out.

I don't know much more than that.  I will run and try to figure out what we are going to do for supper.  I had bought chicken gizzards.  I really them.  I hope that what we can eat.  Take care and enjoy the day.

It was a beautiful day in SC.  The temps were in the 80's.  The breeze was blowing.  It was nice.  We really need rain.  I was hoping that storm in Florida would bring in some rain.  I guess it won't.

We got school done today.  Vicki is really having a time in math.  I really think she just doesn't want to do it.  I don't know what to do about it.  I did join a homeschool group today.  I really think Vicki will like that.  She needs being around her peers.  This is a big group.  She isn't used to that.

It is a beautiful day here in SC.  I think we are suppose to be in the low 90's.  We have school today.  I am enjoying working on the history and science we have chosen this year.  We are doing Apologia Science with Astronomy.  We have chosen Unit Studies on Presidents for History.  This being a Presidential election year I thought that would be wonderful.  We have what they call starry nights at a place called Roper Mountain.  We can go there and look through a huge telescope at the stars.  I want to do that real soon.  I think Vicki will enjoy that.  She has a telescope but a huge one with people who knows what they are doing will be great. 

We have our boys and girls clubs at church tonight.  That should be fun.  Vicki loves her Joybelles.  She learns a lot.  I am thankful for the groups we have.

I guess I will get off and start my day.  I need my shower.  Take care and enjoy the day the Lord has blessed us with.

It has been an eventful day.  We did school.  I am so glad to get a routine back.  I kind of feel lost without one.  I guess we all need structure to a certain point.

It was a beautiful day here in SC.  It was also hot.  The public school kids started back to school today.  I guess their was mixed emotions about that.  I was always glad to see my friends but not for the work.

I made a chicken pot pie for supper tonight.  I also made some ranch mashed potates.  They were good.  Vicki really likes them.

It is kind of peaceful here tonight.  Vicki is asleep.  DH is at work.  They are having beaver problems.  He is suppose to be helping with that.  He works on a golf course.  Beavers come out at night.  I don't know.

It has been a long time since I have got to blog.  We have been very busy.  Dh had a heart attack.  That has been very emotional.  We are  strained financially very bad.  I guess my heart hasn't been into blogging because of this.  Vicki is having a hard time.  I don't her meds are working.  I know the Lord doesn't put on us no more than we can stand.

We have worked on school today.  We also started school back 2 weeks ago. 

I guess I will run and try to finish school.  I also have to fix supper.  Take care and enjoy the day.

I hope everyone has had blessed Father's Day.  We took dh out for lunch and supper.We visited his Father.  My Father is dead.  Vicki got to go swimming for the 1st time this year.  She was really excited about that.  We finally got the pool where they can swim.  PTL!!!!  She needs that to get some exercise and have a good time.

We haven't seen any rain for the month of June here in SC.  I pray the Lord sees fit to let it rain here soon.  I know people's gardens are really hurting.  My Mom's grass is dead.  We don't have any grass yet.  Our dirt is so hard.  It is awful.  I think it is really going to take a major storm to bring rain.

I guess I will run.  We are watching the Deadlest Catch.  We didn't have church tonight because of Father's day.  Enjoy your night.

It has been a very busy week.  We just have went to much.  Today we helped Dh's brother plant some corn for chickens.  He got 20 chickens and 2 roosters.  I hope we can get started in being homesteaders. 

I recieved most of my curriculum for next year.  I got my Bible from Rainbow Resource and I really think I am going to like it.  I have always had trouble finding a Bible curriculum.  I think we will start back sometime in July.  I like to get ahead of public school.  I might wait till the first week of August. 

I am sitting here with clouds all around and no rain.  We are in need of rain.  We haven't had any for the month of June.  I pray we get some soon. 

I know the people in Iowa would love to send some people some rain.  My prayers are with them right now. 

I guess I will get off here and call a friend of mine.  Her dh died over 2 years ago and today is her anniversary.  I think I will check on her.  Take care and enjoy the evening.

I was at home with my newborn baby.  Vicki had been born on April 21.

I would love to have a log house.  I would make sure my family had everything they needed.  I would make sure that I could help other people who aren't as blessed as I am.  I can't stand to see anybody needing anything.

I have always live in upstate SC.   I have always lived in the same town.  I actually haven't never moved more than 5 miles from where I grew up.  I am spoiled I guess.

It's hot here in SC. It is in the 90's.  I'm ready for fall.  I don't like hot weather.  Summertime can be fun but it gets to hot for me.  I am more of a cool person.

We didn't do much here today.  We stayed home and bummed.  It was really to hot.  The air is bad also.  Vicki doesn't need to be outside in it.  She can't do the air with her allergies.

Vicki is suppose to spend the night with my Moma tonight.  She is there now. I know she will stay long enough to go to McDonald's.  She loves that place.

I woke up this morning and realized I have been out of school 26 years today.  I am glad that part of my life is over. 

We don't have alot planned today.  Vicki has storytime today.  We have church tonight.  Vicki loves the Girl's Club that is the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.  I am really glad that she likes it.

It is suppose to hot today.  I think it is suppose around 93 degrees.  I don't like hot weather.

I guess I will run and get Vicki's day started.  She wants Ramen Noodles for breakfast.  I am cooking them now.

We are fixing breakfast.  Vicki loves those Ramen noodles.  She is not normal breakfast person.  I really worry about that.  The dietician told me not to worry.  I always try to make sure she has something for breakfast.

Not much planned here today.  It is going to be hot today.  I don't think we have anything that has to be done today.  I got most of my order done for next year's school done yesterday.  PTL!!!!  I just hate getting stressed out about school.  I always worry am I doing the right thing.

I guess I will run and get her breakfast done.  I also need to find me something to eat.

It is a hot day here in SC.  We have been to town today.  We also walked to Grandma's.  It was nice to get out of the house. 

I have order a good bit of Vicki's curriculum for next year.  I mailed some it and ordered some online.  I still have a little bit more to go.

I believe we will have hamburger helper for supper.  That sounds pretty good to me.  I think I will fix green beans and garlic bread.  I might have some tomatoes with it also. 

I think this summer we will do the free movies, storytime, and whatever goes on at church.  That should keep us busy.

We had a very good service this morning.  We were challenged to be used by God.  God gave everyone a talent.  We are to use them for God.  I haven't never thought about our talent to teach our children.  I really want God to use me in this matter this coming year and years to follow. 

We don't have much going on here today.  We are being lazy today.  We had fried chicken, pork n beans, potato chips, and pickles.  We made a picnic at home.  It is suppose to rain sometime today.  I thought that would treat Vicki.

I need to get started on working on my books for next year.  I have all my catalogs.  I need to make my order.  I want to start back in July.

We have been home most of the day.  We did go to the store.  Prices are really getting bad.  My grandaughter spent the night Vicki last night.  They really had a good time.  We did go out to eat with Moma.  We didn't do much more than that.  We came home and they played.  We did a home spa with wax.  The girls had a great time doing that.

Today we had a good time being home.  The kids played.  My grandaughter cleaned and decorated Vicki's room.  It looked so sweet.  She did a good job.

I think we will stay at home tonight and be a family.  We need some family time. 

My son did get some plowing done on our land.  I am thankful for that.  I don't if we can get a good garden this year but next year I know we will.

Today is a quiet day today.  We don't have much planned.  The sun is shining outside.  DH is going camping with the church.  That will give him a break from Vicki and me.  It will also let Vicki and I have some special time together.

I am going to decide this weekend what I am going to use for school next year.  I have just about got it down but still need a few things.  I plan on ordering it sometime in June.  I like to start back in July.  That way we have days to play with.

I guess I will get off here.  I have laundry going.  I am even washing bed sheets today.  We really needed them done.

Has anyone else been feeling the pinch of gas?  We sure have.  I know God is faithful to provide for us.

Well we are off to a very slow start.  Vicki has been complaining all day with her stomach.  I guess I will be calling the doctor back.  I was hoping she would be okay.

Not much going on here today.  I have been working on my list of books for next year.  I want to start back in July.  I have decided to repeat 5th grade with Vicki.  She has had such an emotional year this year.  I think it would be best to repeat it.  She actually did well with her grades.  She is not ready to grow up though.

I am thankful for the Veteran's who gave their lives for our freedom.  I am also grateful for the all the soldiers that have given up time or family for our freedom.  Our nation has been very blessed to have men and women to fight for our freedom.

We have had a very busy weekend.  Vicki slept till after 10.  She really needed it.

Today we don't have much planned.  We are going to Randall's family to grill.  I hope they do work on the pool.  We need to get if done so we can get it open up for the year.  We need to paint it and do some sanding on it.

It is a beautiful day here.  I hope it stays that way.

Good morning.  It is the Lord's Day.  We will be running around here in awhile like a chicken with our heads cut off getting ready for church.  It is just a little after 6 right now.  I love the quiet of the morning.  I am drying a load of towels.  I have a load of sheets to wash also. 

We are in store for a busy day.  We have church.  My grandson has a birthday party.  We are suppose to have choir practice and church this evening.  We will be busy.  We actually had a busy weekend.  Our church had a youth ralley.  We have a Mission Group of young people in SC.  We were honored to have them come to our church.  The will also be there this morning.  They are doing service.  Last night was really a nice service.  God has really blessed these young people.  They have an annointing upon their lives.  Praise the Lord for that.

I guess tomorrow will be a quiet day for us.  We don't have a lot planned.  I am grateful for that.  I can pay tribute to our soldiers at home.  The Lord has blessed this country with men and women who have stood up for us.  I want them to know I am thankful for them and also very proud of them.

I guess I will run and get my towels folded.  I just heard them stop.  Take care and enjoy the Lord's day.  He is worthy to be praised.

We kind of have a busy day here.  Vicki spent the night with her grandparents.  She did stay all night.  I am glad for her.  She really needed that.  I have some laundry to do here in a minute.  It seems their is never ending laundry.  I am thankful I have the clothes and towels.

We are having a youth ralley at our church tonight.  Their will be a guest speaker.  We should have a good time.  We got to hang out with group who is doing the youth ralley last night.  We also had baked beans, cole slaw, cheesy potatoes, and different desserts.  It was wonderful.  We had a good time.

I guess I better get up and get to moving.  Praise the Lord for the day and his blessings.  He is so good to us.  Thank you Lord!!!

Good afternoon.  We have taken it easy today.  I got some stuff done to get ready for next year's school.  That is about it for us today.

Vicki is wanting to spend the night with Grandma tonight.  I sure hope she does.  We have a youth outing.  It would make it easier on me if she did.  She is very squimsh about spending the night anywhere.  She has never stayed but with mine and dh parents.  She has never stayed with her brother and sister.  She can't handle not being home.  It is an anxiety thing.

We have a bit planned for the weekend.  I will be glad to slow down some.  I hope to get some garden planted.  We will see.
