Hello Everyone,

I have been awarded by Kember and EmilyD!!! Kember awarded me the You Make Me Smile award! And I am going to award.... sierramist, hanemlee, and buttons !!!

Ok, and EmilyD awarded me the Reflection award! And I will award TheWedHornFamily and FruitfulVineof7SoFar!!!

Ok Well those are all the awards!

September 25, 2007- On Tuesday my dad was working at his shop and our 10 year old Black lab/Springer Spaniel named Emmett was laying under my dad's little pickup. My dad went to go up to the house for lunch and he didn't see Emmett and he accidently ran over him, and he got out and saw him and picked him up and caried him to the side of our driveway, we think he only ran over one of his front legs, because that is the only leg that is very swollen and he doesn't walk on it, but he walks on the other legs. We have called the vet, but we haven't gotten a call back yet, and we might have to take him to the vet office. But he has really bad hips and he has already had surgery on the, but they are still really bad, and he won't let us pick him up because it hurts him and he trys to bight us when we try to pick him up. But we hope the vet will call back soon!

September 28, 2007- Today was our first night of Awana for the year. Just in case you do not know what Awana is I will tell you. Awana stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed. And Awana is a club that teaches kids about Jesus. They have 15 minutes of story time and then you have books that have verses in them and you memerize them and say them to a leader, and they check it off and you get points for game time, and whoever's team wins at gametime gets a mini candybar, and the other kids get to have 1 piece of candy as well. They have different age groups as well, age 3-5 is cubbies and my mom and dad are the leaders for cubbies, grade K-2 is Sparkies, grade 3-6 is TNT ( which stands for Truth and Training), and they have a Jr.High Group, and our friends are the leaders for the Jr. High group. It is a very fun group to be in!!

September 27,2007- Well today my mom had to go to work, so my brothers and I are staying at my aunts house till she gets done with work. I am finished for school today, which is a BIG relief. And that is about everthing that is going on.

Well that is all I have to write about for now, I hope I didn't make the entry to long. LOL!!

Oh, wow. I'm glad your dog is OK. One day as we were leaving for church, our dog, Lucky was laying behind us. We didn't see her and ran over her. :( After that, she was shaking so bad. We skipped church and called the only open vet on Sunday. On the way there, Lucky sat in the aisle. She rested her muzzle on my dad's shoulder, as if she was telling him it was OK. At the vet, they took an x-ray and discovered that her hip was just pushed farther into the hip socket. She's a collie/hound mix and collies a prone to hip problems anyway. She already had a bad hip, now the other one was hurt. The vet said the sand we ran over her in, probably saved her life. (Since it gives, unlike concrete.)
Lucky made a slow, yet complete recovery. Now she can still do her favorite thing: running!

WOW, that is a scarry experiance. Labs are also are prone to hip problems and Emmett has two very bad hips that he can barely get up on, some days are worse than others. I am gald Lucky is better now!!

CONGRATS! You get a lot of awards cause you deserve them!@

I was just telling buttons...that I created the Reflection Award. My original plan was to have everyone link the icon (I actually uploaded three different ones to choose from) so people would know where it was created and why.
