Anyway he was a christian man and he was put in jail for preaching the gospel. Later he was released and he preached to people again. In the ending he died because he wouldn't stop preaching the gospel to people. The meaning of the story is he loved others more than his self, he was willing to die for them. It is a pretty sad book.
