yard clean up and other musings

DH and I spent the day, well most of it until the showers came.. mowing and cleaning up the yard.. we are both tired and somewhat sore but the yard looks nice and will look alot better as we get thru the projects we have planned out... we went into the farm supply store to get a ball for the trailer, now It will be easier for me to get the  gold from the barn to the garden to make it grown better:> 

I have some old wooden half barrels I am going to move over by the house and plant with some bright flowers this spring..  When dad gets back from his trip hopefuly it will be dry enough to do some rototilling,  I want to make a couple of berry beds, but need to figure out whereI want to put them...I have an awesome place here.. but when I set it up, I didnt think things out good enough, and now I think I need to move some things around to make this place more productive and easier to keep up...

I think I like spring so much because I feel like I am coming back alive.. and the world is coming alive around me.. I make plans and dream about things I want to do.  This year I seem to have a renewed energy to get back to the land as my mom calls it.. I want to plant a good garden this year.. and put some of it up.. I want to learn more about using whole grains and work on improving the way we eat.

Thanks for the input. I appreciate it. We are praying and waiting. We'll be moving about 75 miles away and so driving Beth up for a visit from time to time is an option. God has a way of working things out, so we'll see what this day holds. I hope it holds blessings for you.
