Hectic Heaven

The big day has come and gone

And everyone survived!  The hormones seem to be ebbing instead of flowing and I am smiling again, much to my family's relief.  We spent part of the day looking for the elusive stainless steel bread pans...and I finally found some online...but I also found some 12 inch loaf pans,  Im thinking these would be better for making sandwich bread.. so Im not sure which I will get...I also found a really cool set of measuring spoons... for some reason  I am attracted to measuring spoons and cups  whenever I walk by I have to stop and hold them .... DH was laughing at me, oh yes.. with me.. I was standing there holding three different sets of spoons... he wanted to know how many I thought I  needed..I have one really nice set... but think I need another to go with it.  lol...

We went to the local farm store and checked out the seeds and plants... I got a garden claw especially for the raised bed... I think we are going to plant Yukon gold potatoes this year...

We went out to dinner with my brother and his family, it was a nice relaxing meal at the local Italian resturant.. although my brother had a rather hard time  considering he met us there straight from the hospital emergency room... he got his finger  to close the the planer and got nipped... actually he is very lucky it was just a love nip.. and not a bite..but he got the usual ribbing you get in my family when you do something a little on the dumb side...although this was on the light side because my dad isnt here.  I imagine dad probably wont let him use his shop anymore without adult supervision... DB is about 37 or so  lol...

Today was rather a lazy day.. had to recoup from all those hormones.  I read garden books and napped... DD took the garden claw out to the raised bed and starting working it up.. She told me she had found two worms in there.. but not to worry she had put them out...on the ground...I think she probably took my two favorite worms and put them out...I just dont know what I will do.    Im not sure what she was thinking.. I came in the other day tickled about how many worms I had found in the bed... she said she didnt want to hurt them... lol It took me awhile to get  the tears to stop from laughing so hard...Im glad she is a caring girl...I cant imgine what my life would have been like without her... She has been the source of many good laughs...Much to her chagrin at times

Happy belated birthday! Just remember that age is all in our heads...the actual number doesn't really mean much. Stay young by keeping young thoughts and actions.
