This morning at 4:30 my cell phone rang, once I finally found it, I saw that it was my daughter, when I answered she didnt respond back.. but I could hear her talking/yelling at the dog, starting her car, it sounded like maybe even using her phone to scrape the icey window lol and so on... so I hung up and called her back...apparently the batteries in her flashlight went out so she was using her cell phone to light her way out to the car, and somehow dialed me.... but since I was "awake" she came in to visit anyway.. now I am kind of wondering if it was a mistake or if she just wanted company before she went to work lol kids gotta love em even at 4:30

DH is coming home today, he has been gone for a week now and I will be very glad to see him.. his mom got out of the hospital on thursday and they had a meeting with hospice yesterday, I know it will be hard for him still....it sure will be nice to have him back home though..

My Ashford traveler and clemes wheels are both in new loving homes.... The differences between the wheels arent alot... the ashford is more of a traditional looking wheel, the clemes is a more modern wheel, I also have another one of them (clemes wheels), didnt need two of the same kind... the lendrum is a more modern wheel that folds up for easier storeage and transporting...

The lendrum that I was hoping had my name on it went to a lady that was looking to make some quick money... she bought the wheel and tacked 100 dollars onto it and  asked the lady to repost it on her used equipment site, she refused... the lady that originally owned it was mortified that someone would do that and contacted her, and asked her if there was a problem that she didnt want the wheel, because she knew I REALLY wanted it.. and was told she didnt like the angle of the wheel... so she offered to refund the gals money, and  pick it up from her as she went thru her town several times a week.. but was told that she had to have at least 50 dollars for her time involved in buying the wheel... last I saw she still had it on craiglist and had dropped the price 25 dollars to 375... most of the local spinning community knows what she is doing and I suppose she will have it for awhile.. or until she puts it somewhere  where she will end up shipping it out..  I would still like to have it , but have decided that it was just not quite the one meant for me...

I also found out that the youngster I have been working with the last month and a half will be changing schools over Christmas break... so I will be done as of  next friday... they seem to like me in this district as I was also told about a job coming up at the other jr high, that they want a good aid for, and that they would reccomend me for it.. working out of the resource room instead of being a one on one.. which is what I would really like to do.... There is also a position at another district I doing the same thing.. so maybe I will end up full time yet...  I really enjoy this work, and cant see me doing anything else...and for some reason I seem to have a knack at it... I go to work in the morning and when I look up again its time to go home... amazing how fast the time goes...

I guess I really should get busy... I need to work on the house and get something accomplished today.. I am having such a hard time getting into the Christmas spirit...with all that is going on... the tree has been up probably 3 weeks now and has yet to see a decoration.. I have not done any shopping to speak of... The gifts to my nephews with be the dreaded gift cards wrapped with a tin of homemade brownies.. I have 2 exchange gifts to get as well as  for DD and DH,  I think SS will get a little cash... if he comes by.

He has lived here in the valley for a few weeks now and he came by once to see his dad a few days after he came to town, for about 20 minutes, I have not seen him yet and after the way things were when he was here before, dont really wish to.. He usually shows up when he wants something... My feelings towards him this year are a little dark, so I think it will be best if my husband decides what he wants to do for him. 

Christmas eve our family gets together for a few hours.. my sis is putting in on and has asked for some  snacky type foods.. anyone have some really great   appetizer type recipes?    Have a good day....
