Four days off

I have a very long weekend coming up.. I dont have to go back to work until tuesday YA!   Got DH off on his elk hunting trip, he will be gone  until a week from saturday....I always look forward to these  hunting trips, I think a little separation at times is a good thing for us... Last weekend I got their menu plans all done and did some of the shopping and cooking for them. Them is my DH, Dad, 2 brothers and their two sons, I made a quick trip to town today and get the bread for them. 

This afternoon I didnt do to much, but tonight DD helped me get the first of the soap in the molds,  we made, sandalwood, juniper sage, 2 molds of spearmint, lavender, and almond, we also got a sample of yuzu and so we made that up.. just a few bars will see how it does in soap. I just checked and the molds are all starting to gel now.  Tomorrow I will empty the molds and we will fill them back up tomorrow night... and again on sunday.  Sunday morning I will start slicing the loaves, I have the best cutter that cuts 13 one inch bars at a time..   That will take care of the soap for awhile..ll   That should yeild roughly  290 bars of soap. 

I have gotten some of the molds I ordered for my beeswax ornaments and have played some with that...  I think they will be kind of fun to do...

I am going to head to the library tomorrow since they are open again now... our librarys were closed for 6 months due to lack of funding:<  anyhow I am looking for some books on aspergers syndrome and rug hooking... usually I look them up online and just reserve them and go pick them up but that service has not been started yet...I will be glad when Its back...

I am also going to go to a dutch oven demonstration tomorrow.. there is a fella here in the valley wanting to start a dutch oven club... might be fun If I didnt have so many irons in the fire already.  

I havent done alot of spinning lately need to get back to it... I have been putting most of my energy into work....well its about time for bed since I have been awake since about 3:30 this morning  uggg... Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Dutch Ovens

Let me know what you find out about dutch ovens. My neighbor just gave us one last night. I had one before, but never used it, so I gave it away. What goes around comes around. This time maybe I can figure out how to use it. Thanks for the advice on the mohair. I'll give it a try this afternoon.
