Preparations for winter

Today as I was leaving to go to town, I saw a little squirrel running helter skelter down the hill towards his  burrow... he had what appeard to be the worst case of mumps... but at this time of year they all look that way... he had been up at the oak trees and had his little cheeks stuffed plumb full... I always kind of wonder how on earth they can get the acorns out since it looks like their cheeks are as tight as they can be...

I went to the dollar store and picked DH up a few pairs of those magnifying glasses.. the man is in denial,  he says he doesnt  need them, but he keep stealing my glasses or my daughters to read with...not that I mind sharing but usually when I am hunting for my glasses  they are perched on HIS nose... so I will place these strategically around the house and see what happens:>  have a wonderful afternoon and weekend

I was just like that until I developed a case of double vision, then I finally went to the Ophthalmologist, you might say I made a SPECTACALE of myself. LOL
