Hectic Heaven

I love fall

There is something to be said about letting your yard go... and let the weeds get good and tall and seed out.... the wild canaries come...  there will be a dozen of those little birds swinging  wildly around on the weeds eating the seeds...  another thing thats happening right now is the acorns are falling...  and the goats love acorns...  so every time the wind comes up they run from  oak tree to oak tree watching for them to fall..  we are having a beautiful fall this year.. the trees are turning beautiful colors.  Fall is one of my most favorite times....

The  29th and 30th of September we set up our  primitive camp and  dressed like moutain men and women  lol I took my spinning wheel with me and spent most of the weekend spinning and sharing and teaching...but it was a cold weekend and all day sunday it raIned.. although we stayed dry, I ended up sick... and by tuesday it had gone into my lungs and I was having problems with asthma as well ,  on thurs my old dog  Molly was having a very hard time.. so we had to have her put to sleep.. she was 17  years old... pretty old for a dog they tell me... I miss her nipping at my fingers when I come home, that ole girl was amazing at reading my emotions.......

I have been working on the house as I have gotten to feel better.. the kitchen is looking better,   the washer gave up on friday, so we found a used one on craigslist,  we ended up paying 100 dollars the washer is only 3 years old... I did not get the full time job I applied for and was deeply disappointed.. I so enjoyed working  with that child... right now I am not doing much working.. so I guess I will start looking for something outside of the district...  as the  bills are coming in from my problems this last summer....  I sure wish I could find something that payed well that I coud do at home....unfortunately day care is out, any other ideas would be appreciated...

I am getting ready to have a major soaping day... I have to order a few supplies in and get going... hope all is well with everyone... take care..

I've been itching to get my spinning wheel out - I love fall too! Have fun making your soap - I'm still waiting for my soap class...can't wait to try it! Have a wonderful day!
