Fair update...

I am so sorry it so long between post.. but being minus my computer and work and I have been so tired bone weary tired.. finally gave up and went to the doc, seems my thyroid is doing odd things...he put me on some meds and I feel more like my old self....and here I thought I was going thru menopause...... anyway on to the fair... I has been beautiful that last few days...  we went to the fair on tues and it was the most pleasant fair I have been to in years.. first time we have not had 100+ temps...

anyway...DD entered a counted cross stitch wall hanging and got a third, a hand woven towel and a lap quilt and got third places on both of them to.. she was thrilled... I ented one of my woven sashes and got a second place.... I also entered some spinning and this still just amazes me... my bulky plied skein got a 1st,  my medium weight plied got a 1st with reserve champion, and my fine single got a 1st and champion....totally blew me away... my fine single was spun on my new wheel....

Congrats on the win to you and your DD, you can't hide talent, I am so happy for you that my head is spinning with joy.

Congratulations on your wins. Summer is sure going by in a hurry isn't it? My older two are talking about school shopping already. Whoa!
I Kool Aid dyed some yarn. I still need a lot of practice on this thing. I've gone from overspin to not enough spin. Natural ablility, I think not.
