Hectic Heaven

Update

My last post was just before our clubs rendezvous... the site of the rondy was beautiful but we froze most of the weekend.. we need to revise our sleeping arrangments... our tent was set up in a nice location and in fact I didnt leave our camp area much most of the weekend... but since I had taken my spinning wheel I didnt want for company.. I had plenty stop by to watch and ask question... I had a fairly profitable weekend as well.. I got an order for 32 bars of soap filled and out the door, I sold my great plains rifle...nice shot in the arm... I still have Sarah.. the one I built...(her names comes from Sarah plain and tall) because she is plain and tall.  I did not even shoot her this weekend... I sold I hand woven sash, and donated a card woven sash to the club raffle... I found one of those HUGE camp coffee pots for sale and it was my good fortune to pick it up for a mere 10 dollars....  The very best deal is yet to be completed but hopefully next weekend it will happen.... A gentleman saw me spinning and walked in and sat down to visit.. he told me he had picked up two spinning wheels at a garage sale to keep the guy from burning them...he said they were beautiful wheels and just couldnt let them go that way.. so he paid the fella  and  they are in his garage...  he wanted to know if I knew anyone that might want them.... well of course I said... um yea! ME!   they are older wheels... the  company that built them not longer does.. but I did find a picture of them.... they are a good basic wheel.. so if they are in as good of shape as he says they are... which I'm sure they are... t hey will be coming home with me next weekend...

I have an ashford travellor and these 2 wheels are clems and clems.... Im not sure what I am going  to do with them all  yet... he thought I should keep them and give lessons at rondys.... lol... My thought was to maybe sell one of them and have a spinning wheel and a plying wheels... my other thought is to sell all three and by the  BMW of spinning wheels I have been wanting.... I will post pics once they are here...
