Hectic Heaven

quiet time...

DH is out fishing and DD is at a movie with a friend... I spent part of the morning warping the loom to make straps for the bags I have just recently finished weaving....I am very excited about how these bags are turning out...I was asked yesterday to take my spinning wheel to a hands on ag day, where kids would be coming thru.... I do so love doing that type of thing.. but unfortantley it falls on a wens. and I have to work..so I had to turn it down.. but maybe next year...

Yesteday while I was at the store to get my spinning bobbins.. I picked up some wool.. the only thing that had been done to it was washing.. so I will card and spin it... I think I got enough to make  a bage...I like the more natural looking wools...Hope everyone has a wonderful day..

Quiet Time

I find quiet time is getting harder and harder to acquire in this day and age, that is what makes it more special when it does happen. Enjoy the solitude, put on some Harry Chapin and enjoy yourself.
