a hamburger recipe and a few thoughts..

Not much going on today, I got the inkle loom warped and have been working some on that..I seem to be in major procrastination mode today       Here is the recipe, I dont have a name for it.. but its good and is kind of a budget stretcher

1 lb. hamburger   I would thing any ground meat might work but I have only used beef

1/2 onion chopped fine

2 med carrots grated

2 potatoes grated

1 egg

a shake or two or wosteshire sauce

1/2 tsp salt

pepper to taste

 squish all together,  make oval patties and dredge in flour,  fry in a bit of oil until browned and then move to a baking pan, cover with a spoonfull of cream of mushroom soup and bake at 350 for about an hour...  this is just kind of a basic recipe, you could add other vegies you had... like some zucchini, or mushrooms or peppers...whatever your family might enjoy, or maybe whatever you dont want them to know your feeding them just chop them up fine

This sounds like a lot more economical alternative to Hamburger Helper, which I love! Who am I kidding? I love any food, except liver, hominy, and spinach!
