Hectic Heaven

Last friday I made a trip over to my favorite spinning/weaving store... and look what I found.  This picture does not do these bumps/batts justices...

The mystery batt to the left has wonderful veins of purples/browns running thru it... the green bump is a softer green.... the blue bump is a very bright vivid tealish/blue..I will have to try to get a picture of it in the sunlight...its spinning up beautifully.   The two hanks in the front are from a previous mystery batt... they have teals and a kind of red running thru them....I ended up with about 7 oz of it....I also have some white llama wool to card and spin, I finnaly got it washed and it is now dried.

We worked outside some this weekend as the weather was soooo nice... I found  onions coming up in the garden... DH fixed the steps that had become quite treacherous(sp) and also the mail box that threated to fall down every time you opened it up... I made bread yesterday and lots of pizza skins for my daughter... she just about lives on that stuff.. but at least they have whole wheat in them...and healthier stuff on top.... I guess we have abuot one more beautiful day and its supposed to rain again.... and I gotta go to work   lol  oh well I will mess around outside when I get home this afternoon.... Take care all....

hmmm lets see... time to plant  cabbage, kohlrabi, broc.... spring fever has arrived in full force:>

What store did you find that in? It'sd beautiful! Crazy weather around here. lol I will need to get some more soap if you got it.I was thinking 2 Lavendar & 1 Almond if you got any. Let me know. Have a wonderful day!
