A good day to stay home

We have had an interesting week around here.... we had a very unexpected snow day on thurs.  I was hoping for one on friday as well because there is so much sickness going around..  I didnt feel very good on friday and DH stayed home from work feeling bad.... DD has a nasty cold. 

The snow was very pretty and very heavy, lots of power outages(sp)  fortunatley ours didnt go out until thurs about 6:30 pm and came on around 2 in the morning....

Today its raining like crazy.... I actually love this kind of storm if I can stay home...when I was a kid I would curl up by the fire and read on these kind of days....

Today I also washed some llama wool someone gave me and have it drying now.... it has quite a bit of vegtable matter in it and will take some carding to make it spin ready.....

I still have some wool spun that I need to ply, I will do that later... DH and I are going to make shrimp for dinner tonight... Im the prep chef with this dinner and he is the chef  lol... but it sure is good... not much else to say... other then stay warm and dry...

sounds like you are having crazy weather like the rest of us. Today here in Va. it was 58* and tonight they are calling for freezing rain. Go figure.
I have been asking around wondering where I can get raw wool or llama's wool so that my children and I can learn how to card and spin. Do you know where I can get some, on line, or something?
