A new job

I think I finally have my foot in the door at the school district I've been subbing at... its only 3 hours a day but the principal said that she new I would have to turn down full days. so they would keep me busy with other subbing as well, and work the hours around so I can get enough...Im very excited...

I will be working with a child (a second grader) that had an illness last year that put her in a coma for a couple of weeks.... health wise she is doing good now, so its time to get her education on track again.. I start tues.   The real ego booster about this, is that the princiapal had 3 different people tell her they thought I was the one that should have this position...made me feel pretty good anyway...hopefully next year I can get on full time....

Yesterday I  set the twist on about 7-8 hanks of yarn, they are hanging drying right now... I finished spinning a very beatiful bump of blue wool that DH gave me at Christmas....I will ply it sometime this weekend and set the twist on it as well...

DH made a goodwill run yesterday so the bed and extra stuff is pretty much gone now... I still have a bit of cleanup in the room, but am slowly moving things in there....

DH and I decided not to try to go to the "big" rondezvous this summer.. but instead go to 3 smaller ones and maybe take a trip to the coast as some point......we are going to start saving for the one the next year that will be practically in our back yard...and while I am somewhat dissapointed...I am not at the same time  lol figure that one out:>  Its time to get busy... have a good day all...
