False springs

Here in the Rogue Valley and pretty much all around us, it seems we have a false spring every year...just long enough to get you out of the doldrums and thinking spring and gardens, then back to the winter weather.  The nice thing about this happening is as stated above it gets you out of the winter doldrums, it makes it possible to throw open the windows and doors and let the fresh air in, hang clothes on the cloths line to dry... I love this spring like weather, I would be content with this year round. The down side is our plum tree is budding out some so we will probably not get plums this year  lol

I have been  working some evenings as a sub helps the ;monthly budget, working on getting the loom warped, I want to make a few tea towels before I have to turn it back in, and cleaning house, and keeping up what I have cleaned, so I have been a might busy, oh and playing outside.....

I have decided that maybe progressive lenses are not for me... I do ok for awhile then end up dizzy, I lose track of where the places are and all of a sudden everything is blurry...

well back to the loom...

simple pleasures...

the sun shining in the window

watching the girls sunbathing in the field

listening to the canaries sing their songs

smelling fresh line dried sheets

sleeping in a fresh bed with line dried sheets  mmmmm

I can see your page again! YAY! Funny how many people from Oregon are commenting on our fake spring, it really does happen every year.
