Spring Cleaning in January

Today seemed like a good day to clean... I have been loosely following the flylady that last couple of weeks and it has been helping me... I guess DH  has noticed. because he rolled up his sleeves and pitched in.. well more like dove in  lol... we have decluttered, dedusted many of the surfaces in this house..I am ashamed to say it was in need, badly in need...I have organized many area's lately that just seemed to ooze out of every container I had stuff in... my sewing center is looking much better...I will have some room to spare on it as my soap center is bursting at the seams....IF SS moves back to CA I will utilize that room for my crafts and soaps...I say IF now because I think he and his dad have had some heart to hearts the last couple of days... so we shall see....

I cooked a turkey on friday and today put it in the soup pot... I will make some noodles soon for it.. and that will be dinner tonight...

As far back as I can remember my mom always cooked the turkey carcasses down after many meals had been taken from it...This is so ingrained that I actually feel guilty if I dont cook it down. 

I woke up to snow yesterday.. it was so pretty... it didnt stay long but I sure enjoyed it while it was here...just thought I would check in.. got more to do... so I guess I will get back to it.. hope you all have a wonderful day......... :>
